About the Art
By Kate Jobe
Journal of Process Oriented Psychology · 1995
Kate Jobe's first artistic love was music. She studied the piano, sitar and violin before she became a dancer. She was, and sometimes still is, an independent choreographer with a strong interest in multimedia performance art. Her pursuit of psychology grew out of her experiences as an artist.
About her art:
The cover art is a painting on a silk scarf. It was inspired by many walks through the old sections of Zurich and is meant to reflect specific landmarks. This painting was done as an experiment in breaking rules of visual arts. The surprising outcome was that for every rule that was broken there were many unconscious ones to which the painting still adheres.
Joe Goodbread
Joe Goodbread writes about and practices Process Work. Although he does not identify himself as an artist, he spent many years passionately pursuing photography, thinking at one time of becoming a professional photographer.
About his art:
These photographs are either very old or very new. They all reflect his lifelong fascination with the unique atmosphere clinging to the people and textures of cities. In his juxtapositions, the pavements and walls of the city often look more alive than its citizens.
